The ideal way to differentiate from the competition by offering really ecological products, which have grown in an environment free of chemical waste, but which have also been able to protect themselves from viruses, bacteria, fungi and pests, goes through the installation of an ozone equipment.

How is it possible to obtain ozone?
There are only two possible ways. Nature offers it to us as a consequence of the action of ultraviolet radiation from the sun on atmospheric oxygen. Thus, ozone is a gas that acts as a real filter, being one of the basic elements that make up the ozone layer (also called ozonosphere).
Ozone can also be created artificially. In fact, it has been discovered for a long time, but it has only been in recent years when its applications have proved really beneficial for companies from multiple sectors, when it has been really taking advantage of the bactericidal effect that characterizes ozone.
It is obtained by several procedures, among which there is silent electric discharge (also called “in cold”), the most advantageous generation system, since no type of radioactive particles have to be produced. It is necessary to count, for this, with an equipment formed by ozone generators.
And why is ozone beneficial in water?
Most of the tests carried out regarding the disinfection of water are made on the bacteria of fecal origin called E. Coli. In 1955, scientists Wuhrmann and Meyrath used a very small residual ozone (r = 0.6 mg, O3 / m 3 water). In two and a half minutes this concentration of ozone dissolved in water was actually bactericidal for E. coli.
As we said, the bactericidal power of ozone is known and is being used for this function for over one hundred years. However, nowadays it is easier to use it in a precise and controlled way. The fact is that, once the necessary ozone is consumed to eliminate the organic matter, with very small extra contributions, satisfactory results are obtained in fairly short times. Something that, beyond any doubt, improves the effectiveness, efficiency and performance of any company.
The virulicidal action of ozone
To find viruses or enteroviruses in water, it should have strong infiltration of wastewater. Our equipment and ozonation systems are installed so that they can measure it in each situation. According to several studies which have shown that, at low temperatures, ozone acts better, because this gas dissolves better in water and stays there longer. However, at high temperatures ozone, interestingly, attacks bacteria better than chlorine because they have less tendency to sporulate and break the spore. This is satisfactory, but also contradictory. What is known for sure is that disinfection by ozone is less influenced by pH variations than disinfection by chlorine.
